Dignity
Compassion
During this difficult time the Tandaza Trust has continued to be actively supporting families in need in Nairobi, Kenya. They have been operating their street out reach program, Nutrition Project with a focus on growing fresh food, SILC (table banking) with a view to encouraging economic independence and operating a food kitty. The Trust continues to be a presence amongst the most needy despite the difficult circumstances of the pandemic.
The current lockdown in NSW is restricting the ability of Australian Friends of Tandaza to actively fund-raise for the work of the Trust. Sadly it was necessary for us to cancel this year’s Walk for Tandaza and we are currently unable to attend the Glenbrook Rotary Markets. We look forward to the future when we can again hold our usual activities. Meanwhile please explore our online shop as every purchase you make raises funds for the invaluable work of Tandaza Trust.
