We are just a little over a week now from the Annual Walk for Tandaza in Australia. It is very exciting as it is our first official fundraising event since the Association was launched late last year

Word of mouth indicates quite a bit of interest in the walk and hopefully this will transfer into attendance on the day. Please continue to encourage your friends, family and work colleagues to join us. If they are unable to come on the day please let them know we are very happy to receive their donation anyway – either in person or online!

The Coffee Club Nepean River has kindly agreed to let us set up a table on the concrete where the bike rack is. This will allow walkers to assemble on the grassed area beside the Coffee Club before the walk. It would probably not be appropriate to setup our full market stall on the day but maybe some samples and also flyers to give to people visiting the coffee club who are unaware of the Association.

On the day we have an allocated committee member, Geoff, to welcome and volunteers Heidi and Renee to lead and bring up the rear of the walk. Penny has volunteered to remain at the table for the duration of the walk to answer enquiries and welcome walkers back!
